Info on Chapter 3's Development + Small Details Regarding Chapter 4

This is a dev blog for you. This one is called, No one Asked for This.

Figured I'd provide a bit of an update since I've gotten a fair bit done the last few days. Right now I'm finishing up Valery's second scene, where he invites you go out for lunch with him on the weekend. It's pretty short but helps setup a much longer scene where you'll have the option to date him. I also reworked how the computer works, you now have a list of websites you can visit on the computer, it works lot like the travel system does. it's not really that fleshed out right now, as you can only check your bank balance and Pawbook. I might look into adding some optional scenes on there later, would add a nice bit of depth to the game. I'm also working on introducing the money management scene, which will basically introduce how money is going to work while on the road trip. I do plan on making it so you can run out of money while on the road trip, not entirely sure how I'll handle that yet. After finishing those scenes I'll move onto writing and implementing the Holly date scene, and the Valery hangout/optional date scene. I've had a general idea of how I want the Holly date to go since the festival scene/chapter 2, basically just been waiting for the rest of the story to catch up before I wrote it all. Both of those scenes should have a ton of options regarding how you approach them, feeling like they'll end up being pretty damn good. After those scenes that will basically be the end of chapter 3, I'll probably make a little reflective scene and then there will be a very short time skip which will take you to chapter 4. And That's when stuff will get really interesting since I'm planning on making that the chapter where you finally embark on the actual road trip.

I'm also looking into officially supporting Linux and OS X. Pyinstaller supports both of them so it shouldn't be to much of a problem. For Linux it'll probably  just be a matter of booting up one of my VMs. But for OS X I'll have to see how you get a VM for it running, since I don't access to a Mac.

That's about all I wanted to talk about. I'll post an announcement if I get Linux and OS X support going, shouldn't take too long provided OS X isn't a pain to run in a virtual machine.

And as always, if you have any questions about the game just let me know. Post them in here, on the comment section, or sent them to me on Twitter and I'll be more than happy to respond.
